Pichu's question was worth a lengthy answer- because there were years of them to share. Expressive, moving as he spoke, Pikachu told the tale of how they had been staying on a mountain after travelling and taking on things called Gyms and their Gym Leaders that gave them badges as proof of their skill over them.

"Yeah. It hasn't been a problem, actually," Red responds. As he speaks, he moves his hands much as Pikachu does below them. "I thought being on a mountain for so long would make me rough on travelling, but it's been easy to get into. There's so much to see around here."

But saying all that prompts Red to ask, "How was it when you got here? Are you into travelling?"
